Hand Painted bridal boots

A couple months ago my (now) Sister-in-Law asked me to paint her a pair of
boots to wear at her wedding.
I had came across a pair of old boots at a sale over the summer
which I had no use for them but the price was too good to pass up.
IN HER SIZE….Talk about meant to be!
They were solid black originally.
I painted them the same as I did on my turquoise hand painted boots.
You can click here and read about it.
The only thing I did different was I used a can of clear flat spray-paint
to seal them after they had dried.
I did 4 or 5 light coats over the WHOLE boot!
I didn’t want to chance any paint transferring onto her gown.
They were a lot of fun to do!!!
I even added their wedding date on the side on one ankle
and her new name on the inside of the other!

Even the groom wore his boots.

Actually the whole wedding party wore boots.
I LOVED IT!
I tried to wear pretty green shoes (OUCH) but I ended up in my boots for the dance.

Have you painted a pair of your boots after reading my hand painted boot post
I’ve had a few people tell me that they have but I’d LOVE to see pictures.
Please email me your pictures to chores_chandeliers@hotmail.com
