I'm SO EXCITED!!!!!!

I was nominated for the Liebster Blog Award from Kelsey at Keeping up With Kelsey.

I was beyond excited to be nominated since I’ve only been blogging for a few months!!!

1. I’d love a chandelier in every room of my house (and barns)!

2. I am an animal lover.  I can’t say no to any animal that needs a good home!

As a creative outlet. I love sharing my ideas/thoughts/finds.

3. Where do you see your blog going in the future?

Good question….hmmm…I had no goals going into it.  But I hope to see it grow bigger and continue to make friends and connections with my followers.

4. Ever played an instrument?

Nope! Never. I have ZERO musical talent.  I can draw, paint, sculpt, but I CAN NOT even tap my foot with the beat!

5. Which social media site are you the most addicted to?

Facebook. Pinterest!

6. Any guilty pleasure's you'd like to air out? 

Accessories!!!  I definitely spoil myself with accessories!  Jewelry, hats, scarves, belts, etc

7. How many fbook pictures are on your profile?

OH WOW!  A TON!   Last year I did a year long photo challenge, So I took a photo everyday in 2012.

8. Reasoning behind your blog name? 

Chores and chandeliers: I love to be out working (with the animals, in the yard, on the farm) but yet I love style fashion and everything fabulous.  I may live down a dusty dirt road but I make every attempt to make my farm life fabulous.

9. Have you ever tried to sue someone? 

NO.  Hope to never!!!

11. Bath or shower?

Shower, We don’t even have a tub in this house! And we have 2 young cowgirls (they use a tote in the shower…..no lie).

Tattoo's

What are your thoughts on tattoos?  Do you have any? 

I am a very conservative person so many people are surprised to hear that I LOVE tattoos!

(my husband dos not share my love of them)

I am an artist.

Have I told you all that yet?

I studies art in college (right after high school) for 4 years.

I ended up graduating with a degree in Interior Design.

I recently went back to college and got my teaching license. 

So now I can teach art. 

I would love to be an art teacher!!!  (Someday I will)

But I am currently a substitute teacher and mommy.

It works out great!

Anyway……I love tattoos and see them as art!

I already have one.   I got it when I turned 21.

I drew it up and the tattoo artist did a great job on doing it exactly how I had it drawn.

I really want another one but as I said earlier I plan on being a teacher,

AND I LIVE IN SMALL TOWN NEBRASKA!  

I LOVE where I live but it is very conservative and tattoos can raise a few eyebrows. 

And to be honest some people can be a bit judgmental when it comes to tattoos.  
Tasteful subject matter and placement are very important to me!!!

Anyway…I will be getting another one soon(ish).

I have few ideas I’m still working on.

My cowboy boot addiction

It is no secret that I love cowboy boots!

I have a bit of an obsession with boots I’d say.
Here is a picture of *some* my boots

I really feel that cowboy boots go with so many outfits!

My all time favorite outfit is a simple dress, statement jewelry and BOOTS!

I feel that everyone needs a pair of cowboy boots.

They ARE worth the investment!!!!

My bestie and his wife are expecting a baby girl *ANYTIME NOW*

They live in Nebraska City, the home of the Fort Western Stores.

So SOON I will be making a trip across Nebraska to meet my {honorary} niece!

While I’m there I will be making a stop at the Fort.

Not only is there a retail location but the catalog distribution center is also located there.

So I am making my list…..

Boots, jeans, and jewelry top the list for now

I don’t know if I can say I have a favorite brand of boots.

But the majority of my families boots are made by Ariat.  
(8 pairs of Ariat's in our house)

I love Ariat Boots!!

They really are SO comfortable…..and last forever!!!

I’d wear them even if they were not comfortable because they look great,

but luckily they are a great boot, 
made for walking,

and dancing,
and working,
and especially for looking fabulous!
