{EASY} Teacher May Baskets

It is no secret I love holidays!!!!!
I also love to show people how much I appreciate them!
I am so lucky that my daughter has AMAZING preschool teachers!!!!
So this year we made them May Baskets.
OK they are not really BASKETS…In place of baskets we did drink cups filled with Candy.
I just used a WORD program and made circles to slip over the straw and sit on the lid.
Then I added a “flag” on the straw with a small message.
It was yet another easy, cheap, fun project I was able to do with my girls.
Not only am I able to share the fun of creating projects together but
I am also able to teach them the JOY that comes from doing nice things for others!!!
It is so valuable for them to learn the importance of telling others that you appreciate them.
She is very excited to take them tomorrow to school to celebrate May Day!

Are you making May Baskets this year???  For who?
Have a WONDERFUL MAY DAY!!!!!

Front porch view {link up}

I loved connecting with other Nebraska bloggers!!!!
Kelsey from Keeping up with Kelsey and I are co-hosting another link-up.
It is…….

Well last week I posted my view out my front porch.
(poor planning on my part)

So I am also including my view from the back.
BECAUSE..that is where I sit on my rocker with my coffee in the mornings and enjoy the view.
I use to sit out front with the rockers
BUT the wind is horrible here
and blew the rockers and broke one….broke it into pieces!!!
I now only have one it it sits comfortably on the back slab (next to my cute chore boots).

I am also including my view out back behind my house.
Our family picture was taken out in our back pasture.
I love my view!!!!!  It’s so relaxing!!!!
Perfect to come home to after a busy day of running around in town!

Here is MY typical day in The Good Life
Wake up.
This is my view out my front window.
I love my view; It puts me in an instant good mood everyday!
I am currently doing a long term sub position (at a preschool)
so (on sub days) I get up and get ready for school.
Pack our bags.
(My school bag, backpacks, lunch, diaper bags, dance bag, church bag, etc.)
Get the girls ready.
Drop the girls off at daycare.
Grab coffee.
Head to school.
****preschool till about 4****
Pick up the cowgirls.
Run around do some errands (Dance class on Mondays),
Head home.
 (Watch out for the turkey)
Decide what to make for supper.
I get tired of deciding but
I LOVE having a freezer full of meat.
Chores.
Eat supper.
Hang out as a family.
Baths and bedtime for the cowgirls.
Laundry, dishes, clean, pick up.
(I really dislike this part but the hubs is a big help!)
Relax.
Maybe do some blogging.
Check out facebook, Instagram, Blogs.
Go to bed.
That is a day in MY good life.
